The house has drinking water available from the dispenser in the pantry (hot and cold), plus pitchers in your room that we refill daily. Power outages are normal in El Paredón and part of its charm, thanks to tropical storms. Casa Hibisco has solar panels and backup batteries that keep the lights, water, and kitchen running during outages (A/C excluded). Every room has emergency solar lamps in the closets. Service is usually restored within a few hours.THE KITCHEN:
To elevate your experience at Casa Hibisco, we offer a small menu of breakfasts, ceviches, and dishes made to share slowly by the pool. We also deliver fresh seafood straight from El Paredón's fishermen. And for the hours in between, there are beverage kits and a selection of local pleasures from Guatemalan makers.
